Shortlisted at the Grammy's in 1976 for album of the year. the winner was Still Crazy After All These Years by Paul Simon. This would have been my album of the year from those shortlisted
An album with 3 outstanding songs and then the rest is pretty average and are filler songs to reach the run time. The 3 songs are One Of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes and Take It To The Limit. My favourite of the three is Lyin' eyes as I just completely love the chorus and always sing a long. The filler isn't bad but it is exactly what it says it is and doesn't provide anything else to the music. The rest of the album is skippable and you can just listen to the big 3 songs. Overall, an average listen with a few phenomenal songs that save the album in my opinion.

This one opens with one of the Eagles' greatest tunes, but tapers off pretty quick after that.
Brilliant album. My third favorite Eagles album after Hotel California and On the Border. Check out "Visions" for the only Eagles track with Don Felder on lead vocals.

Favoritas: Take It To The Limit, Lying Eyes, One Of These Nights
Released at the height of their popularity, one of these nights, is a good Eagles album. Featuring classic tunes in, lyin' eyes, take to the limit, and the title track, it also includes the oddball instrumental, journey of the sorcerer, which would eventually be the theme tune to the classic British TV series, the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, surely the Eagles weirdest moment.
One of their best efforts. As mentioned, three of their best known songs are here - and the rest of the tracks are pretty decent as well.
