I have loved Richie's "style" for as long as I can remember, including his Woodstock performance. I have also enjoyed hearing Richie's interpretation of Dylan songs. His cover of 'Just Like A Woman' has always rated high for me and I have included it on my 'top 100 Dylan covers' chart.

Good group of mostly covers delivered in a powerful and distinct manner. Havens combination of voice and unique acoustic guitar playing make for a very enjoyable album. His original compositions aren't as good as his renditions of others' work on this record my favorites being "High Flying Bird" and "Follow". Unfortunately, the last two covers pale in comparison to the originals.

This was a very strong album. While most of it was not original material, Havens did a nice job in adding his style to the music. The Highlight traks were "Follow", "Adam", "Handsome Johnny" and "Elanor Rigby".
