Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.4/100, a mean average of 79.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.2.

Beautiful! More recognizable than his other ambient works. Handful of his ambient stuff is more fitting as background music haha. This one I can actually listen to like I would a more straight forward "normal" album. More of a chill album than straight up sleep music haha.
I've listened to this three times today. The beauty of this music is simply astounding. It is also very healing. I've been listening to this to help heal my sorrow and mourning over my father's death two weeks ago. It is helping.
Deep Blue Day is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard
A pleasant listen. The country infelcted tunes are too odd to be be enjoyed on my first listen, but I think it will be worth coming back to. Just having Ending (An Ascent) makes it worthwhile though. Its so simple, but so beautiful too.
75/100 (Above Average)
Nice album from Eno. Not great, but perfectly enjoyable while it's playing. More 'discreet' music.
Some more relaxing bath music from Mr Eno.
After years of listening to it while playing games or studying.
I listened to it while blindfolding, with headphones and doing nothing at all.
The perfect ambient album. Space is ethereal, and this album proves it.
I have to admit I'm not really a fan of Eno's singing, so this is right up my alley. Cosmic bliss.
