Fab blend of CSN and early Santana and Chicago. Beautifully composed melodies mark it out as something very special. The great guitar and Hammond B3 add further magic. A lost gem...
There's some great guitar on this album along with some nice CSN-emulating vocal harmonies. There's also quite a lot of cheesy organ, equally cheesy strings, and a few schmaltzy vocal performances, but these things grow on you with time. The goofy spaghetti western basslines still get on my nerves though. At any rate, this is quality american prog/folk rock. It's not terribly innovative, but it's still rather engaging.
