Updated: listening through again, on vinyl, and this is a good album, better than the follow up, Strip, and contrary to my previous comments when I was listening through headphones on download…..bad move!
Adam's first solo record, although in truth it doesn't make hardly any difference considering Marco is still on board. Still, friend or foe, is an improvement on the disappointing, Prince charming. Goody two shoes, and the title track are classic Adam, and, desperate but not serious, something girls, and, a place in the country, are all enjoyable too. Not brilliant, but good fun.
Decent first solo offering from Adam Ant - however his best solo album was never released - if you get the chance go online and try to find 'Persuasion' - if it were released I'd buy it without hesitation.
Another guilty pleasure, I can't help but like Mr. Ant.
Music which there were many in the early eighties.
