Best Tracks: J Smoov, Lariat
With each passing album, The Jicks are remind me more & more of Junta-era Phish and less & less of my beloved Pavement.

"J Smoov" and "Chartjunk" are pretty nice tracks. Definitely one of the best albums of January 2014.
First album of 2014 that I actually can dig. Very cool mix of indie/alt with quirky ben folds flavoring. I like it!

The Jicks somehow manage to sound more polished yet looser at the same time. A band with relaxed confidence in the material.
Great album! I prefer the first half to the second though
