Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I have a soft spot for keyboard-driven prog, so I'm inclined to like this kind of thing. Bear in mind that this is pretty soft as prog goes - you get some organ arpeggios here and there, but the bulk of the album is devoted to a kind of breezy pop/rock. It gets a little too insubstantial in certain instances, and the vocals sometimes veer into awkward places, particularly in the somewhat Parisian (?) 'Home and Where I Belong.' The highlight for me is the playful 'Time for Bed.'
