There's a serious lack of cohesion here, it makes for really bad musical whiplash. The songs on here are actually really great, well written and well performed. But they try to do too much.
Magnificent album with the classic Black Heart!
The best from Calexico! Love the atmosphere. I loved to hear this album when I was driving through Uruguay at sunset. I should rate it higher...
