A strong debut in the style of Motown. 9/10!

Good album to hear when you wanna relaxing in the evening. Standout tracks: Rockferry, Warwick Avenue.
Not the best album ever, but it has a nice vibe. I like to listen to it late in the evening. Unfortunately, her only good album (so far). Best song: Warwick Avenue.

Great voice, good album, pity she could not build on this.
Fantastic retro album that really captures that pre psychedelic sixties sound. The sounds of Dusty Springfield and Lulu are all over the record. As a deliberate attempt to make a sixties drenched album, it works brilliantly. Pity she couldn't follow it up.
Really enjoyed this album but where did Duffy go ?

Pretty good as far as pop albums go. She has a great voice but the songwriting is not all there. "Mercy" is a pop masterpiece.
Surprisingly a great album.
Known for Rockferry and warwick avenue.
Overall OK, but not impressive.
