An instance of the softer side of British psychedelia (there are also gestures here to chamber pop and folk rock). It's very vocal-driven with mellotron washes and tinkling guitars as accompaniment. The music's quite playful, but for the most part rather dull. It aspires to a kind of childish simplicity, which is fine in small doses, but it cannot justify twelve tracks. The shorter snappy songs are the highlights: 'In My Box' and 'Sunny Side Circus.'
