Innovators. And their aesthetic is real, not manufactured like those that followed. It’s a sad fact that a lame band like Limp Biskit could ever be the fall-out of such an originally solid outfit like ST.
This album hits with short, catchy, hardcore punk attitude right in your fucking face. It was from here that they created a scene, a vibe, an aesthetic without intention.

Great hardcore punk album that has commercial appeal makes for an essential listen.
Great punk album that's full of young misery and humor and is still very useful for motivation in the gym.

A perfect Hardcore album. Punk died out, and about 3 years later the west coast had a hardcore movement. This is a part of that movement. I have every song memorized to this day still. FYI: they made an album under the name No Mercy. Check it out.

Institutionalized alone makes this one of the best of it's time.
This is the best punk album ever. Period.
