Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.4/100, a mean average of 72.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.2.

The title track is such a classic iconic song. All other tracks just have such a quintessential 60's sound to them and are not overly memorable.

A psychedelic album which is full energy! Superb musicianship from the off, keys and lead guitar continually interchanging. The drums and bass carve out the tight grooves throughout the album. Love the organ lead on the title track and the lead guitar is soooo psychedelic!

Best tracks: Most Anything You Want, My Mirage, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Worst tracks: Flowers and Beads, Termination

Such an underated album! I'd barely heard the title track before listening to this album, and I was really blown away. These guys were on fire here. Definitely deserves more praise.

Explosão psicodélica chegando no hard rock, com um hino eterno.

Other than the title track, not too much of interest to me.

Side one was actually better than I expected and the epic side two was disappointing. Still, it's early days and I'll stick with it but I'm not quite convinced of the brilliance of the title track just yet. I expected a bit more to be honest.

Although this album known for the title track, I like every song off the album especially "Are You Happy" and "More Than Anything."

It's all about that title cut. And it's pretty good, all 18 minutes of it, although many prefer the abbreviated single version. Guess it depends on the quality of your weed. The rest of this disc is strictly for hardcore nostalgists.

So the story is that the front man of Iron Butterfly was so wasted that he couldn't say to his bandmates his new song: the proper name of their iconic hit - In The Garden of Eden.
