This album is not as rare as some people seem to think. It was actually quite popular in the UK - I knew two other people who had it. But it is great and unusual to our ears. The cover was different on my copy to the graphic supplied here.

If you want to hear a completely different sound that will blow your mind, give this album a try. Haunting harmonies that sound like the echo from distant centuries. Start with Polegnala e Todora (Love Song)

I heard it on the classical music station here...in 2000..the station here is really great, plays a huge variety of music, not like some of the big city classical stations that just play Beethoven's 9th and the "hits", they also play just Baroque for 6 hours on Sundays..

i can't believe you - and naples evidently - have it either! i think i came across it on a list of top 'world music' albums, listened a few times and became transfixed.. i have a few other albums featuring bulgarian vocal groups such as 'cosmic voices of bulgaria' but i've yet to listen to them.. how did you hear about it?
