Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Truly captures the Winter West...not so much the sound and feel of the Appalachian winter but the stark and bare qualities of a Rocky Mountain Christmas first snow.

Beautiful album throughout. Winston's unique interpretations of old standards are wonderful, as are his originals.
This album is a mood. Somber, reflective and melancholy.

i loved this album the first time i heard it playing on a cassette in someone's car. it ended up being the first CD i ever bought, several months before i actually had a CD player :-) i knew i was going to get one, though, and i really wanted to hear this album in CD-quality audio.
Lovely record. Not as creative as Autumn, but perfectly captures a meditative/melancholy side of the season.
