Truly captures the Winter West...not so much the sound and feel of the Appalachian winter but the stark and bare qualities of a Rocky Mountain Christmas first snow.

Beautiful album throughout. Winston's unique interpretations of old standards are wonderful, as are his originals.
This album is a mood. Somber, reflective and melancholy.

i loved this album the first time i heard it playing on a cassette in someone's car. it ended up being the first CD i ever bought, several months before i actually had a CD player :-) i knew i was going to get one, though, and i really wanted to hear this album in CD-quality audio.
Lovely record. Not as creative as Autumn, but perfectly captures a meditative/melancholy side of the season.
