I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of this particular artist, although I've heard some of her songs either in messages or on compilation albums. In fact, one of these songs is featured here! Lost in France! It was a pleasure to reminisce about it. Although the album doesn't contain the hit songs that she later became famous for, her voice still captivates with its raspy expressiveness and emotional depth.It's no wonder that one critic called Bonnie-Rod Stewart in a skirt, as some of the songs on this album share similarities with Stewart's album from the same year, and the final song could have been a potential duet between Norman and Quatro.Born in English Wales (Vallia), a native of the Celtic family, Bonnie Tyler (real name Gaynor Hopkins) received a contract to record her debut album, "The World Starts Tonight," relatively late in life, at the age of 26, but with none other than the international giant RCA Records.
