Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.2/100, a mean average of 71.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.1.

Not a memorable debut for a band that would eventually release plenty of classics. There's only one original track on this album, the rest are covers. The group are still finding their sound and the songs just sort of blend together.
Fun fact: The Rolling Stones debut and Aerosmith's debut both end with Walking the Dog
good debut
1st stones. 1 original song. definitely Stones sound
Great debut. Most of them are covers, but I absolutely love the vibe. I prefer the early bluesy work of the Stones above their later rock albums.
Everyone has to start somewhere... better than The Beatles debut for sure.
Just a couple boys from Britain trying rock 'n' roll 'cause that's what was hot at the time. Can't say they don't execute it properly; never expected "I Just Wanna Make Love to You" needed a rock 'n' roll remake so much until now.
Os bad boys cantavam o blues dos pântanos.
Great debut, awesome covers!
Tell Me, Mona & Honest I Do are my favorite ones.
INDIMENTICABILE.
Just hints of the future. The Stones would evolve well beyond this collection of covers.
