Nina Simone is to my ears the greatest vocalist to have ever done it and this album is a prime example of that.
Nice singing and great lyrics about important topics at the time.

Some say that "I Put a Spell on You" is the closest that Nina Simone gets to pop, but I think this album has a great pop sensibility that keeps pushing track after track of tight, melodic songs. Highly recommended.
What I find remarkable is how she was able to put so much passion into everything she did. I recommend listening to "Four Women" and "What More Can I Say?" Amazing.
Very unique, distinctive voice. Great record to just chill out to.
