Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.9/100, a mean average of 70.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.1.

Not an easy listen, but a highly rewarding one. Experimental stuff with drills and clanging of metal. In a beat though. It is not pure noise in the way that Masonna or other more avantgarde artists make. This is much more approachable.
Most tracks are engaging emotionally as well as intellectually. You can take in the emotion and appreciate the play with experimental stuff.
banging and crashing mechanical sounds
Highlights: All of Them.
This is the kind of album I wish I could write. So very cool.
Awesome early industrial noise record using found sounds like metal plates and I believe even power tools. Einstürzende Neubauten sets the vibe from the very beginning; very ominous. This album contains lots of yelling, screeching, and tidbits of noise usually layered over a slow drum beat. Its easy to see how this band is considered a pioneer of industrial and even experimental music in general with Kollaps.
