The Rossington Collins Band arose from the ashes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, featuring 4 of the 5 surviving members. Similarly, Allen Collins Band rose from the collapse of RCB. It featured all of RCB, except Rossington and lead singer Dale Krantz -Rossington, who were replaced by guitarist Randall Hall and vocalist Jimmy Dougherty. The result is a solid southern rock offering. This album made very little splash, perhaps Southern Rock was fading as a genre, as bands like 30 Special and Molly Hatchet pulled it in opposite directions.
Regardless, this my favorite post-skynyrd album by the various survivors.
