Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 9% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.1/100, a mean average of 74.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 10.4.

This album is suitable to be the soundtrack to a cruisey road trip on a sunny day. It drifts along nicely but there's no tracks that really standout and nothing that makes it memorable. Alright but pretty average overall.
Rather disappointing really. Just doesn't grab me @ all after quite a few listens.
Very good effort. Tropics stands out as the best track, but the album flows well as a whole.
It's growing on me.
On first listen I'm really enjoying it
Kind of surprising. It's just plain old good rock music, in 2015. Wow. Who would have thought.
Tracks range from amazing to kind of boring. The amazing ones are "Compound Fracture", "Get the Point", and "Tropics"
Really good album. Average song rating 78/100
It is the album I have gone to much more than any other recorded in 2015 so far along with Belle and Sebastian's Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance. Songs are quite diverse.
I know these songs are going to be mind-blowing live, but on the album for some reason they don't really have that great of an effect.
