In many ways this album is the epitome of what a Superchunk album ought to be. It is fast and furious, yet neither of these qualities overwhelms the other. Its speed makes you want to drive too fast or work out; its fury makes you listen for Mac's genius in the lyrics. Although other Chunk albums are spectacular from start to finish, no others offer such high quality so relentlessly.
