The plug awards put these kids in the punk category. Sure, i hear the attitude, but the instrumentation isn't confrontational enough and the vocal delivery lacks a rebellious snarl. They actually sound like they're tired of being sexy, self-deprecating ("css suxxx") and just ready to lose society's inhibitions and bang ("let's make love and listen to death from above"). You might see a little more than nipple listening to "music is my hot, hot sex" and that was intended. They speak their mind ("fuckoff is not the only thing you have to show") and you feel turned on by it. Maybe it's that brazen sexual audacity that plugged them in as punk. I also hear a little cibo matto for what that's worth.
So trashy!! I love it!!!
