I love the quiet, reflective songs, but the really fiery, forward songs sound like really bad 80s power ballads to me...

"Rook" is so much better!
Very unique listening experience. I feel this one may be a grower as going straight into it didn't feel right. Whole sound is not one I would usually listen to. That said Black Eyes and Corridors were both lovely.
