Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.0/100, a mean average of 71.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 10.9.

Uma aproximação maior ao rock mais puro.
I listened to this a lot when it first came out. I love the song "Sean"
Disagree... Sonic Highways is way better. But this is a nice B-Sides EP.
A marked improvement after their serious, and in many ways career-ending, mis-step, "Sonic Highways", if not good enough to put them back on the map.
The only classic "Foo Fighters pop sound" song is the title track, and it's not awful, if not memorable. The rest of the EP has some surprises. The Foos have always channelled Tim-era Replacements well, but with "Sean" and "Savior Breath" you might think they are channeling "Let It Be"- cool! "Iron Rooster" has some of the strong melodic contours that make me love the Foos, with Grohl's lyrics striking for the candour- yes, that's kind of what you are turning into, isn't it? Meanwhile "The Neverending Sigh" is a just post-grunge song, with almost no distinctive Foo touches, other than the fact that the song is actually pretty good. Overall I'm pretty happy with this release.
The Neverending Sigh is great, but other than that there's nothing memorable here. I just really want them to start moving out of their comfort zone and experimenting more. Please!
Pretty solid
Some interesting material, it sounds pretty good.
