Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.6/100, a mean average of 80.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.6.

Great pop album with nice melodies and laid back atmosphere, perfect for driving in summer.
Toda vez que se ouve o álbum cresce. Melodias e lindíssimos acordes!
There is so much to love on this record but unfortunately a few weak spots hold this record back from their greater work. Starting with the positives, which is Sato's vocal which is just as brilliant as ever. Then there is the instrumental performances which are fantastic and create a great vibe for the listener. It also has many of their greatest ever singles they made all of which make the album a must listen and they all stack together to create a chilled and fantastic experience. This release is also great at demonstrating just how brilliant the group were live as the several songs on here that were on 98.12.28 sound far superior on there and show they were at their musical peak on that album. However, the negatives on this album is that there are some parts that seem slow. This is usually a great thing on their other records but on here the slowness seems to feel empty and it isn't as complex as their other releases. There are also a few tracks that are pretty skippable and are unnecessary for you to listen to. Overall, this isn't there greatest album and is quite a bit off but is well worth exploring as there is some fantastic moments.
The more dub influenced tracks are just slightly weaker (i.e. Slow Days), but when they go full dream pop, like on the magnificent ナイトクルージング (Nightcruising), the results are stunning.
good album. Drops off slightly after track 6
This is one of the best albums Fishmans ever made, I'd put it just behind 98.12.28 Otokotachi No Wakare as my favourite album by them. The last couple of tracks especially do it for me and Subarashite Nice Choice is just such a beautiful a groovy song. One of my all time favourites.
Re-listened this yesterday, one of the best dream pop compositions here.
