Best and most consistent release of 2017. A wonderful debut, from a Jack White production. After 1 release, I will be a lifelong fan. Appropriate for every occasion. I like it most driving through Tennessee :).

It's a funny country album, but it gets lost a bit over the songs but all normal symptoms of a debut album.
This is the debut LP from Northwestern Illinois to Margo Price. Her album was released on Jack White's label so it's received some attention. Listening to it I hear an artist that is still emerging. She has some strong songwriting skills but she still needs to find her voice and find footing. I'll be looking for that on her next release. It's still the best record this year from an emerging country artist. Can't beat Sturgill Simpson's "Sailor's Guide to Earth" though.
