Carole has made another solid album with sweet pop songs, but this album lacks the real bangers. A bit of too-sweet songs reaching out for adult audiences lacks the final touches. A solid 4-star effort from her.

Not featuring the massive singles of her Tapestry album, this 1973 release from songwriter/singer Carole King features 13 tracks of the same piano driven pop which were also splendidly contained on the aforementioned million seller. Despite the lack of singles, King delivers each of these tracks with the same enthusiasm and soul which were a part of that massive hit. An enjoyable snapshot of the era in which it was produced.
