My favourite album of 2016, fantastic journey

BRILLIANT!
This is Bat For Lashes best album by far, The more downbeat second half is something special. Didn't find this dull at all.

Alternately bewitching and tedious- mixing some of the qualities of her best work (fur&gold, the haunted man) but only occasionally finding the spark that made those albums so beguiling while sharing some of their more noticeable flaws. All in all it mirrors the equally uneven and ambitious Two Suns, but the high points are fewer and far between despite some lovely, well-crafted individual gems.

Although Sunday Love is a jam, most of everything else doesn't to get an emotion out of me. Boring and predictable music.
