Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist is rated in the top 22% of all artists on BestEverAlbums.com. This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 76.8/100, a mean average of 74.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.1/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 18.2.

One of the greatest punk bands to ever exist. Politically charged lyrics, heavily distorted guitars, and great bass playing make this band great.
I best remember The Dead Kennedy's for their famous t shirts worn by kids at skateboard parks. I tried liking them and bought a few albums to try and be cool but found them boring. Biafra a significant front man in the history of punk music

As important as the Clash, and much better than the Sex Pistols. Same vitriol, but more focused and with better playing than the Sex Pistols. (Edited)
The Band with the coolest T Shirts for skate board punks but never really could get into their political commentary
One of the greatest bands ever. Sardonic, cutting, witty, truthful. Biafra was one of the best lyricists when with them (Edited)
