Wacky record by these wacky punks.
But don't get fooled, they have some crazy solutions to turn a song around and make it interesting. It's not just conventional punk rock.

A rapid fire political album that extends into the singer going rabid, maybe not for the good of it.

System of a Down died completely for me after listening to this album. Not that I liked them before, but I considered them original... little did I know that they copied everything from Dead Kennedys. And still, Dead Kennedys did it better. So much better.

Gets a little bit same-y at times. But that is to be expected with any punk album, really. Still enjoyable. I like how they found a sweet spot directly in between offensive and controversial. Good for summer drives and crazy parties. Definitely one of the better punk albums I've heard in a while.

This is one of the greatest punk albums ever, with lyrics meant to outrage sensibilities, and boy do they succeed. The songs come fast, rile up to maddening intensity, piss off everyone along the way, and then end as quickly as they came. The few tracks that have a little more length are among the best punk tracks ever. Particularly, "Kill the Poor", "California Uber Alles", "Holiday in Cambodia", and their cover of "Viva Las Vegas". One of the few hardcore punk albums I love, it's a bona fide classic.

Some of the best lyrics to come out of punk.

Musically they are no Rage Against the Machine, but in message they are almost one in the same, and I love that about this album. Musically though it's not something I'd choose to listen to. Kind of juvenile.

Amazing punk album, the best of the whole genre in my opinion. The lyrics are brutally biting, especially if you're rich and white like most of us here. Besides the lyrics, the music is actually great. Unlike many other punk bands *cough* The Ramones *cough,* the guitar actually does some interesting things and the music over on Chemical Warfare goes to schmaltzy French polka for a second.
