Very interesting band with charismatic vocalist

The pop rock masters of the eighties. Bright, sharp sound with great vocals courtesy of Hutchence and all the usual catchiness of proper pop fluff. The kind of band I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to, but that I will turn up if they come on.
I do respect this album as it got inxs to full stardom, i do like kick but i must admit earlier albums are just as great, the swing, underneath the colours, shabooh shoobah in fact most of they're albums are great, in my opinion Kick came out at the right time and is regarded as the best they did but i don't listen to it as much as the earlier ones i mentioned.
A fabulous band with an interesting sound in their time, The Swing, Listen Like Thieves, and Kick are my favorites. RIP Michael Hutchence

INXS was big, loud, edgy, decadent but they had talent and substance underneath it all. A hard working band who delivered the goods live and put out a lot of albums.

Kick is a wonderful album. The others are not as good but Listen Like Thieves has some great moments also. Up there as one of the top 10 Aussie bands of all time.
