Do yourself a favour, listen to Back in '72 one of the great 'lost' rock albums, Seger's best.
Another criminally underrated artist on this website. If I'm in the mood for heartland rock, I'll pick Seger over Springsteen.

Old Time Rock 'N Roll, Night Moves, Stranger In Town...just awesome songs sung by an outstanding singer with a terrific voice. Against The Wind...love that tune!
I don't dount Seger has talent, but Old Time Rock and Roll is so freaking annoying! I'm not saying I don't like his music, but that song has gotten way too old.

4 essential Seger records: Live Bullet, Against the Wind, and yeah, Stranger and Night Moves! All the other records certainly have their moments too!
Night Moves and Stranger in Town are classic albums. Too bad the rest of his catalogue doesn't come close other than a few singles here and there.
