You get a little bit of everything from this band genre-wise. Their live shows are incredible! Great passion, odd but cool instrumentation, and thought-provoking, relevant lyrics. Worth listening to if you don't understand the hype.

Overrated. I am getting tired of seeing white kids with ukuleles sing their songs at 2 am in the morning
NOT HIPSTER TO SAY....I was a fan of twenty one pilots in April of 2013, which was when they were gaining a small amount of traction. I really like the blend of rap, pop, and alt-rock. The lyricism and structure of their songs is a huging selling point for me. Very well done! I like the concept of Blurryface and think it was a very underrated album of 2015. I get why some people don't enjoy them as much as me, but I think they're a very honest and not fake indie-pop band, unlike many who gain popularity these days.

Vessel was a great album with a lot of great songs. Blurryface was worse. Interesting mix of alternative and rap.

Not that bad of a group at all. Sometimes, the intensity of their fan base scares people off though.
