This album has some bangers, but most of the songs are improved in vessel. Kitchen sink is one of my favorite TOP songs. The meaning of the song is so beautiful. Glowing eyes is also one of my favorites. Trees from regional at best is propably the worst song of TOP (I still love it tough), the improves vesion in vessel is much better.

When listening to their albums in sequence, you see how they developed their sound. They were mainly piano/synth ballads with good songwriting on their eponymous album. On this album, they extended their reach by bringing in more eclectic grooves that, though they aren't completely polished, still allowed the duo to experiment and find their wheelhouse. The polish came more in Vessel, but this album provides a great foundation to what a lot of their sound is today, and that's commendable.
Key Tracks: Lovely, Kitchen Sink, Forest, Ode to Sleep (only track that was weakened on Vessel in my opinion)
