Feist is beauty personified. Her music is so gentle yet overpowering (in a great way). Putting on Let it Die while walking around Manhattan at night is an unforgettable experience.

Reasons why Feist is brilliant:
1. Her lyrics capture the emotion of love and loss better than any Canadian artist since Leonard Cohen.
2. Her sense of melody and hook make her pop-rock superstar.
3. She was on Sesame Street and the Muppet Movie.
4. Her voice is versatile - sweet and poppy one minute, soulful crooning another.
5. She was in Broken Social Scene.
6. She went to my high school.
