Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 7% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.7/100, a mean average of 75.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.5.

Feist's wonderful voice is contrasted with the dull coffee shop instrumentals of much of the album.
Top drawer indi folk album. Headlined by I Feel it All and 1,2,3,4 the latter written by the equally talented Sally Seltman aka New Buffalo. Can't go wrong here.

My clearest memory of listening to this album was on a drive from Lubbock, Texas, to Palo Duro Canyon. Driving across that bleak, barren landscape sharpened the attention I paid to the heartbreak and pathos in Leslie Feist's voice. The rocking "I Feel It All" is the highlight, but the whole album is consistently great.

Gifted songwriter with a sweet voice.

To think Feist used to be in a metal band... If Feist continues to produce albums of this quality, she could be this generation's Joni Mitchell. If she slumps, she'll be this generation's Anne Murray. We need another Joni, Leslie.
Wonderful album. Highly recommend it.

Ah, feist of the apple commercial. With "the reminder", she brings "mushaboom" quality to most of the album. i wish she could bring more of her personality to broken social scene, because the playful warmth on "i feel it all", "my moon my man", "sealion" and the aforementioned "1, 2, 3, 4" are infectious (and my favs on the album). She's a faint, slinky coo of a delivery with surprising depth in her delivery and writes some catchy tunes as my album favs all attest. The ballads aren't as good, but there are some nice gems like "the limit to your love" and "brandy alexander". i love the note she hits in "the park" and the harmonies in "the limit to your love".
