They're brilliant, Vampire Weekend and Contra are both brilliant, but Modern Vampires of the City, now that's something else.

These guys are almost flawless, while their dubut album weren't as good as the other ones it's still amazing. The songwriting and rostam's genius sounds with the risks that they take make this band one of the best and deserves to be higher up on the ranking. It's very rare for me to listen to a whole album without skipping any but I never skip any of their song(,maybe only Blake's got a new face)

While, MVOTC is the better album, VW's debut has better individual songs

Pretty consistent band, they know what they are doing, and they are doing it really good.
Also the debut has many songs that are extremely nostalgic.
Like someone said on a Youtube comment, Green Day and the Wiggles, yeah, they're really good at it

Did you know that on Saturday and Sundays the band sleep in coffins, and sometimes as a treat the do so on Friday's too.

Vampire Weekend are the definition of Indie. Their first and third albums were both great, and they definitely have a long successful career ahead of them. They sound so different than anyone else.

I have loved everything they have done. First fell in love with Contra and loved it so much checked out their debut which is even better. Then MVOTC came out and I can honestly say they're my favorite band going right now.
