Since Mitski has a new album out, I finally took a deep-dive into her discography. And what a rewarding body of work it already is. Puberty 2 in particular has some of the most gut-wrenching and beautiful songs I've ever heard. She's not necessarily pushing new boundaries, but at the same time, there's nobody else that's quite doing what she does in the alt-rock/singer-songwriter space.
Mitski is vastly under appreciated on this site. One day she will be remember as a visionary and a trend setter but y’all heard Nobody on TikTok one time and wrote off her artistry entirely. Shameful.
