Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 75.3/100, a mean average of 75.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.3/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 8.9.

Well underrated. Very QOTSA but fresh and distinct. Guitar work is amazing, vocals and lyrics are typical Homme; “ignorance is bliss until they take your bliss away”, genius. Grohl is in his element on the drums, and JPJs influence is very clear.
Album is filled with tasty blues-inspired modern grooves, scattered with hard rock passages and slow instrumental jams. Album is a solid piece of work through and through. Would love to hear more from these guys.
Standout tracks: Mind Eraser, Elephants, Warsaw.
This sounds mostly like an album of tracks that didn't quite make the cut for a QOTSA album. Not that that's bad as most songs are pretty good. Just not as good as most QOTSA albums
I honestly expected much more... I hope they'll make another (better) album, although the one they've done is not bad. It's just not what I expected from three of the greatest rockers around playing together
great collaboration, genial!
