Lee Morgan is on on of my top two trumpeters of all time (alongside Freddie Hubbard). He was the ultimate master of hard bop who then grew beyond prior to his untimely demise. He had the ultimate combination of technical wizardry and artistic feel, surpassing his contemporaries as well as those who preceded or came after. A finer trumpet player you will not find, and a damn fine composer and leader to boot. A++
