This is a quintessential hard bop album. The tunes are excellent and the improvising spectacular. Lee Morgan is at his peak both as a soloist and as a leader here.
Great jazz album from Lee Morgan. Every title is great, especially the stunning title track. Great playing, great tunes. Great stuff.
