Ignore my tweedy previous comment. Nicki Minaj is the indisputable queen of rap, a force of nature for change and representation in this scene and an icon of our generation. A pitiful shame that she fell so far in 2024 and resorted to AI-generated artwork. Don't even start me on going after Megan Thee Stallion. Consider the rest of her discography, however, and she's one of Hip Hop's most consistent feature artists ever, and certainly up there with the genre's most iconic lyric writers. Few things she touches fail to be exhilarating. Far from everyone's cup of tea, but a legend when she was at her best.
A few good songs (Monster, Only) and can create catchy poppy music as well as legitimately decent bars. Overall not too interesting though.
Someone needs to tell me how to contribute a 0/10 score. I feel I've overrated her a hair.

5 points above average just because I know if she wanted to she could have better music than she does. Her verse on Monster is proof she is talented, just missuses that talent.

I often get annoyed of listening to certain songs or artists for a variety of reasons, but it's rare when an artist can be this annoying right from the offset, regardless of what she is doing. A travesty of a musician.

I'm not a fan of Nicki Minaj, but I think her 38/100 artist rating on here is very harsh (and hard to explain). That's possibly THE LOWEST rating I've seen. Minaj is not among the greatest artists in the world, but she is a long way from being the worst.

Sorry - is there a standard by which music should be 'allowed' on BEA? I thought people made charts based on what they appreciated. Some people like Nicki Minaj. AgainstMeAgainstYou needs to accept that.
