Great guitar playing and songwriting, and of course the voice (even thou he exagerates a little at times). He gently plays with sadness and happiness on a roller coaster of emotions. He sadly went too young and full of potential. Hard to rate him based on basically one album.
A tragic loss in every sense of the word. It seems to me that had Jeff lived, he would have gone on to rank among the greats; Lou Reed, Thom York, John Lennon, even Bob Dylan. Such a shame we'll never get to hear his full potential discography.
He may have developed into a great songwriter and released some great albums but I find Grace to be thoroughly boring and grossly over-rated.
Who knows what could have happened if he had lived.... We had a glimmer of what his talent was with Grace

Very sad that he died, so young and with so much talent and potential. Only releasing one album, but great that he left his mark on the world as the album is fantastic. I'm giving him this rating because it's what I gave his only album.
