Top 18 Music Albums of 2013

I cut down my top 25 to a top 18. A case of quality over quantity. Which means, no John Grant, no Midlake, no Jake bugg, no Arcade Fire, no Unknown Mortal Orchestra, no etc... They all released fine albums that were a bit of a letdown for me.

Not catchy but definitely worth exploring. There's something about the flow of the songs (appropriate given the "watery" theme) that is just so right.

At 71, he's still got it: the knack for imaginatively-arranged tunes that impregnate your brain cells like no other. Hooks and made-for-repeated-listenings subtleties galore. Brilliant!

Looks pretty good.
Lot`s of Old Masters with good young artists like Anna Von Hausswolff. I know only a few songs of her and I like them.
