An enjoyable band, slightly overrated, but makes compelling music. Nothing outstanding here.

Mat is best vocal ever...his voice is something realy special!

1. Boxer (brainy, fake empire, start a war)
2. Alligator (Geese of beverly road, Daughters of the soho riots)
3. High Violet (afraid of everyone, bloodbuzz ohio)
4. Trouble Will Find Me (humiliation, dont swallow the cap)

For years and years I'd never been able to single out an artist or band as being my favourite. That was until I stumbled upon the National in 2010. Boxer, Aligator, High Violet and Trouble Will find me are to me 5 star albums. Cherry Tree EP is also excellent.

The only problem that I have with this band is that every album sounds the same. But the good thing is that every album is great
