Reminiscences of Karen Carpenter singing a Bacharach-David song... Except that nearly all of the songs here are gorgeous originals. Swooningly beautiful.

Beautiful songs produced- by Daniel Lanois- in a unique way: one man and his guitar had never sounded so electric and huge before. A series of solo, live-in-the-studio performances that sound like a band.
