Probably the most misunderstood and underestimated musician ever, Tom Zé shows an unmatched understanding of composing as well as song-writing. In this that is his magnum opus, his deconstruction of samba puts everything to the ground: his "quadridimensional" conception of tempo rebuilds the concepts of rhythm, metric and harmony from the ground.
Beyond the technical, it's one of the funniest records ever made. The nearly dada lyrics, full of wordplays and clever aliterations, sing of the craziest ideas possible from a mind that seems to be an inexhaustible fountain of craziness.
