Following the brilliant 'Primary Colours', this album is a great mix of shoegaze, synthpop, krautrock and art-rock. Thrilling and surprising from start to finish. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]

Not as strange as his previous two albums, this album creates a synth landscape. Great introduction to his discography. See him live, it will change your perception of live performances forever. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]

The first 3 songs are so mindblowingly great, nick cave went to the dark new romantic side of the 80's. Rest of the album is so so, but just because of the first three songs is this album great. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]

A real secret gem. Momus carreer and output had me dissappointed until this album came out. Layered with old vinyl samples, the songs feel warm and comfortable. This is Momus best album since 'folktronic' and comes close to the emotional impact of his album 'Timelord'. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]

This album actually embraces the word death in the band's name. Made while one of their key members died, the album is a rollercoaster ride of punk rock and noise pop, but with an overall feel of loss and rising again. Good stuff. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]

This is by far the most hated album ever. The clue to this is: this is not a Metallica album, it is a Lou Reed album. Sure for a Metallica album it sucks, but for a Lou reed album it is just great. His lyrics are his darkest since 'Berlin' and the hard rock backing is just great backing music for Lou Reed's songs. [First added to this chart: 03/21/2016]
