Top 100 Music Albums of the 1950s by CharlieBarley
The explosion that was rock 'n' roll occurred in roughly 1956, in this decade. And jazz and swing music developed nicely too. It must have been a very cool decade to be alive in, and very exciting. I imagine being a teenager in the 50s was awesome, such a wealth of pop music to choose from. The jukeboxes must have been jumping. This was difficult, this chart of the decade my Parents were born in, as it was the decade I knew the least about and the most distant decade. But once I started looking at it in more detail, and playing its fabulous music, I really got into the spirit of it. Let's rock again, cats!
