Had I known that 1993 would be my last full year in Hamburg (before ensuing upon my 16-year-long stint in good old Blighty), I would have spent more time enjoying the sights and sounds of this wonderful city, instead of sitting in my bedroom wallowing in teenage self-pity whilst listening to hours upon hours of music, but at least I got a fairly decent Besteveralbums list out of it, didn't I. So, small mercies and all that.
